Dream Castle

Recently my friend, ¬†fellow worldbuilder and wonderful author Andrea Baker asked me if I would like to write a guest post for a series she is running on her blog called Castle of Dreams. I was thrilled to bits and knew¬†immediately which castle I wanted to write about, Shrilan Castle. Shrilan Castle is the home of Etienne and his family from my Return of The Effra trilogy. My post is now live on Andrea’s blog so please drop by and take a look.

A massive big thank you to Andrea for inviting me, it was great fun! ūüėÄ

Goodbye 2012! Hello 2013!!

So this is not very original, because WordPress has kindly prepared these blogs for every blogger. But it’s great to get a breakdown on how well your blog went down over the last year and I am quite impressed at how well I’ve done considering I don’t post very often! So I’d just like to say a very big, heartfelt thank you to all you wonderful people out there who have visited me here over the last 12 months and wish you all

Here’s an excerpt:

The new Boeing 787 Dreamliner can carry about 250 passengers. This blog was viewed about 1,300 times in 2012. If it were a Dreamliner, it would take about 5 trips to carry that many people.
