The sad news has just broken that the gentle giant of peace and freedom, a bastion of hope and courage and a symbol of the strength of the human soul, Nelson Mandela, has passed away at the age of 95.

It doesn’t matter who you are or where you live, Nelson Mandela had an indelible spirit that couldn’t help but inspire you. A man of such dignity, eloquence and strength, he symbolised for a whole nation and in fact the whole world, how peace can overcome the worst situations. Every challenge he endured, he faced with tremendous grace. He has influenced millions, by his words and his actions. An idealist, a freedom fighter, a man of great power and humanity. Coming Very Soon!!

While we all sizzle away here in the UK, I’ve been stuck indoors editing and formatting Wicked Game. My wonderful editor has been working hard, sorting out my grammar and spelling disasters, and I’ve been updating my file and formatting it ready to submit to the printers.

Soooo! If everything goes to plan, I am hoping to publish the ebook version of  Wicked Game by 3rd August!!!

I’m very excited as you can imagine, I really wanted to get it published before I go to Las Vagas for the RNConvention! I am hoping to be able to publish the paper versions as soon as I return hopefully by the 18th August!

Then after all that excitement, I’m going to have to buckle down and get writing the final instalment, Shegal. We have now, thanks to Greg Barons my wonderful cover artist, got a working cover for Shegal. It’s a work in progress so it may yet change, but I do like it so maybe not! What do you think?

New Look!

This is the first blog post I’ve done in quite a while and the first proper post I’ve done on this, my WordPress page. I have been using my blogger page but I wasn’t happy with the look of it. So a few nights ago I sat up till the early hours changing this page to look more like I want it too. Hope you like it, it’s not exactly how I would like but it’s better than I managed on blogger.

The past year and in particular the last six weeks have been very hard on my family and myself due to my mum’s illness and then her passing. I would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and best wishes.

I feel I have let things slip a lot as I haven’t had the time to keep up with writing, housework, life etc. So I’m planning to try and get myself into a better routine as I think it will help and I know I’ll feel more in control if things are getting done.

I’m also planning to get to bed at a more decent time so if you find me on FB at 2am please tell me to log off and go to bed!!

Thanks 🙂
